One of my BMs is pregnant now and will be just about 6 weeks postpartem when the wedding rolls around. Since it’s so close, we opted to get a dress that was very flowy and forgiving in the tummy. This dress also come in maternity sizes- bari jay # 103

Pretty dress! You’re still about 10 wks out from your big day- I would contact the salon and see if they can do a rush order. I think they can get them in 6wks… if not, check out some of the online retailers… I know HouseofBrides.com does a rush order. Good luck! Worst case scenario… Spanks! 🙂

I wonder if worst case scneario, does the dress come up high enough that it wont effect her tummy?!?!

I think your dress will be very flattering/forgiving on a pregnant woman/lady! =)

My Maid/Matron of Honor was 6mos pregnant at our wedding; we bought fabric from DB and she had a dress made by a tailor to match the other girls’ dresses.

I think if she’ll be only 4 months at the time of the wedding a dress like that will be forgiving enough. Worst case scenario there should be an inch or two allowance along the seams to let it out some. I don’t think she’ll need much more with such a style (you’re lucky in that case!)

If you can change the order now I would, it would be less stress anyway.

Im sure something with an Empire waist or Flowy would be cute.

@FutureMrsMeinhardt: I don’t think my Maid/Matron of Honor paid much more than the other girls paid for their DB dresses, but that would largely depend on the tailor she worked with (it may have been a friend of the family).

@FutureMrsMeinhardt: When is the date the dress is due to arrive? As soon as it comes in, take your Maid/Matron of Honor and have her try it on. **Fingers Crossed** there is some wiggle room and then you can let it out some through alterations! Just take it one step at a time hun! =)
