My sister was 7 months pregnant at my wedding and wore the same dress as the other girls we just got her a bigger size than she wore (it had a corset back though behind the zipper ). She looked great. The belly was adorable.

One of my bridesmaids will be like 3-4 weeks PP at my wedding. She bought a larger size (she shopped when she was 4months pregnant so it’s roughly what she might be shaped like). And it’s very forgiving but we are kind of just crossing out fingers on it.

One of the bridesmaids at my SIL was preg she ordered her dress up a few sizes. With the waist I think when it was alterd they raised it to help accomodate the belly.  You can see her between the ring bearer and flower girls.  I think she went up 2 sizes.

I was 5 months pregnant at my brother’s wedding, and I ordered the regular dress 2 sizes up. It was an empire waist dress as it was, and I just needed it more for the boob growth. It was also a longer dress too, so my seamstress just didn’t take as much length off in the front as she did the back so it didn’t look uneven.

The one possible problem I see with this style on a pregnant bridesmaid is that it’s very fitted around the natural waist–which could pose a problem with an 8 month belly. An empire waist would be much more forgiving.

Emmerbug: at the time we ordered it she was a size 10 we got her a 16. And the 16 fit great with the corset.

I’d really suggest choosing a style that would work better for the big belly!

I definately think that they can bring the waist up more to an empire style (or just pick one from the get go for her).

I will be 8 months pregnant with baby #3 when I am a bridesmaid in October and we ordered the dress 2 sizes larger then my original chest measurements and then ordered extra fabric in case the need to make me a completely new belly before the wedding (which we are all expecting to be the case. ) A good sesamstress can make just about any dress work!
