One of my bridesmaids is pregnant with twins, and will be about 30 weeks by the time my wedding comes around. We just ordered her the biggest size dress they have from David’s Bridal and are hoping for the best. It was a tent on her of course, but I’m just hoping it will be big enough in the tummy area and any other parts can be taken in if needed. Our ceremony is going to be outdoors in September so it will probably be pretty warm, but it is going to be very short (15 min?) so she won’t have to stand up there for long. She said she wouldn’t mind wearing the heels that I had bought for them and then changing into flip flops for the reception but we will see how she feels when the time comes. Also, I have another friend that is willing to step in in case my pregnant friend just absolutely cannot be there, but I really hope that doesn’t happen.

I was in a wedding with an 8 month pregnant bridesmaid, and she couldn’t let out her dress enough (even though we bought them only 3 months out). It was satin, empire waist dress but with the lining it couldn’t be altered. She had to wear a different dress at the last minute (and it ended up looking fine!) I would suggest looking at jersey material dresses with an empire waist – David’s Bridal has them.
