We were suppose to be married in October but since finding out we were pregnant, we decided to move the wedding up and make the wedding smaller but a little more formal. I will be 5 months pregnant for our wedding on August 17th and I already had a beautiful dress that I can’t fit into anymore. (The dress was ordered in the smallest size and there wasn’t really any way around having to get a new dress because of where my bump is was an awkward position for the dress). Well because everything was moved in such short notice, I didn’t have a wide selection for a new dress and I ended up with one off the rack. I did try on the old dress for my Fiance to see because I was really hoping to see his reaction in it… now I realize that was a bad idea because he absolutely loved it and my new dress is much simplier and different. Now I’m nervous that he’s going to be let down on our wedding day when he sees me in the new dress. Help me feel better please!
This is the old dress:
And here is the new dress (taken at 3 months pregnant, so I’m much bigger now…)

i LOVE the new dress! It is so elegant! The other dress is sweet, but something about your new dress is really glamourous. I am sure he will love it, especially the silhouette!

Thank you ladies! I think I’m just having a little freak out session what with all the hormones and the wedding being in 3 weeks and all. Thanks for still making me still feel like a bride!

He’s a man. He didn’t love the dress, he loved that you looked beautiful. Lucky for you, you also look beautiful in dress #2! He’ll love it and you look great!

@ms.jellen: I am confused- is the fitted one the new one? I would have thought the opposite, and that the big dress would be the pregnancy dress. Either way, you look gorgeous in both gowns, so there is no need to feel bad. I actually strongly prefer the fitted gown!

@Beansly: @eecuadrado: @Pinkmoon: @lina010:
thank you so much. you ladies really are making me feel TONS better!!
I love this. You are completely right. I am being rather illogical right now! I swear I’m normally not.
I know it is slightly confusing. The fitted one is the new dress. I was able to get it in a size 12 so that it can be fitted for my bump. The non-fitted dress was purchased in the smallest size and the bodice of the dress actually cuts off in the middle of my bump which made it unwearable even with a corset back. Thank you though! I’m glad you have a strong preference for the fitted dress!! 🙂
