@rainbowbell:  Depending how things go, you could pretend to get a drink and fill your cup with some sparkling water or Sprite.

OR, you could tell them that you’re on an antiobiotic for something (like a UTI) and can’t drink right now, but tell them to have one for you. Good luck!

I’d go the antibiotic route. You may get people questioning it but that’s the nature of people!!

Congratulations!!!! 😀

Get sparkling water and a lemon and tell them it’s a vodka tonic… No one will be the wiser

Could you do something that didn’t involve drinking? For example, at my bachelorette party, a bunch of my girlfriends and I went to a restaurant and had a bunch of food and yes, some drinks, but not a ton, and there were several people who did not drink at all, so it totally wouldn’t have been noticed that I wasn’t drinking. We then went out and did some other fun, girly stuff.

I also second the suggestion about lying about antibiotics….I’ve had to say that many times when I’ve actually been on them and no one ever questioned it or gave me the side eye. People are pretty wrapped up in themselves anyway and likely will not notice!

I agree about fibbing and saying you have a UTI and can’t drink for the antibiotics!

@rainbowbell:  Congratulations! My suggestion is to clue the bartender in and have them make you non-alcoholic drinks all night. You can fake it pretty well by getting those fruity looking drinks. No one will know. Or you could get a bottle of beer, bring it in to the bathroom, dump it in the sink and refill with water. Then repeat throughout the night and none will be the wiser.

@rainbowbell:  Trust me, you aren’t letting anyone down. They are there to have a fun time and celebrate you,  I guarantee no one will be upset…and if they are, that’s a pretty dumb thing to be upset about!
