I went to Costco and bought some organic fajitas (I’ve sort of been obsessed with anything that resembles a burrito). They have mostly veggies with some black beans and rice. I’ve had those a couple times this week. I also eat a lot of soup. I always bring a couple pieces of fruit too and a carb snack like popcorn or something to keep me happy in the afternoon. I try and bring some veggies too – basically a lot of whatever I’m feeling like. I try and keep veg cut up in the fridge so I actually feel inclined to grab it and put it in my lunch. 😉
Like you, leftovers are not appealing whatsoever! I have found if I repurpose them then everything is okay. For example, yesterday I cooked a couple chicken breasts in the crock pot with salsa. We ate it for dinner with some brown rice and stir fry. I’m more than happy eating it again on a salad or in a wrap or quesadilla. I just have to find some other way to eat it.

Oh, and if you want caesar salad I recommend this recipe (I used anchovy paste and didn’t breathe in while I added it to the blender.) http://allrecipes.com/recipe/caesar-salad-supreme/ I made it when we had guests over and they raved about how it was the best caesar dressing they’ve ever had. And – no raw eggs! 🙂

I can never decide what I can consume until the time of. I feel averted to everything. For me it’s not so much abt what I feel like eating. It’s more like what is the least objectionable item to me?

@KateByDesign: I am eating cottage cheese with hot sauce almost everyday (apparently he likes spicy because I still LOVE it and I don’t get heartburn!). I also bring 2 fruits with me to eat at different times and usually a baggie with either dry cereal or pretzels to munch on throughout the day. I also wait until I am at work to eat breakfast which is usually a greek yogurt. Anytime I eat a full meal or sugary food I feel sick, but luckily with my job I have 5 minutes here and there between classes where I can munch on a snack so I don’t get hungry.

I baked a chicken breast this morning in the overn and chopped it up and made a chicken salad sandwich for lunch. Really healthy and didn’t take to long to make, popped it in the oven while I was getting ready.
