queennen :

That is definitely positive.  The digitals require a higher hcg level to trigger a “positive” response which is why they are not good for early testing.  Ignore the digital.  You are preggers 100%

I mean that doesn’t look like a faint line to me…that’s pretty clear to me.

That doesn’t mean anything good or bad.  Sometimes women have break through bleeding and are still pregnant.  Usually it is not break through bleeding but is actually implantation bleeding which happens as the embryo burrows into the uterine lining.  That’s not an evap line you posted.  It’s a clear positive.  Bleeding and spotting from this point forward is normal for early pregnancy.  The only way to know if the pregnancy is progressing healthily is to track the hcg levels by blood test.  Don’t rely on test line progression.  It can be very misleading.  Call your ob, report that you got a positive home pregnancy test and get set up for prenatal care.  Some docs will agree to drawing betas (hcg level testing) to track the progression of the pregnancy.  It varies by doc.

queennen :  also, yes, diluting your urine also diluted hcg levels and can lead to a false negative.  That’s why you need to ignore the tests you took later in the day and instead focus on the definite positive you got first thing in the morning when your hcg levels were more concentrated.  For pregnancy testing, morning pee is the best pee.

That’s what my internet cheapie looked like at 9dpo and I ran out and got a FRER since they are the most sensitive. That came up slightly more dark than the internet cheapie. It still took me almost a week to get a positive on a digital after that.

FYI, I’m currently 37 weeks.

Congrats, looks like you’re pregnant!

I got two positives on internet cheapies and then two negative FRERs before anything showed up on those, so I would trust the cheapies! I am 23 weeks now :). Congratulations!
