Hi Pregnant bees!
First of all, just want to thank all of you for being such a great community!
Now, my real question … for any of the pregnant runners out there, have you found a belly band that works well in late pregnancy? I can tell I’m already ‘bouncing’ too much in my belly and I’m still not that far in …

I felt a lot of bouncing around 16 weeks and then it went away for awhile and now that I’m 24 weeks it’s starting again. I’ve just used my husbands cloth back brace when I’ve felt a little more bounce and it’s worked well. My regular belly band that I use to hold up my jeans would be enough.

Hm, I did have one that I liked.
This site has a lot of good bras and stuff, too.

wow I’m jealous….I was a runner up until last month when I found out I was pregnant. I’d run 4 miles everyday and was starting to train for a half marathon. Now I am so exhausted, when I get home from work all i want to do is sleep. How do ya’ll do it??? Will I start to feel better that I’ll get back to my running routine??

You could get a wrap around girdle type thing–like a velcro wrap around belly support. But i’m sure get sweaty and smelly after awhile. Lovely i’m sure

@vtouchet: I felt a lot better during my second trimester but honestly some of the only time I really felt awake was when I was running during my first trimester. The only problem was if I went too long I ended up napping for like an hour when I got home. But as long as I kept it under an hour it felt refreshing. But the second trimester is much much better as far as energy goes.
