It could take a while for the pregnancy hormones to show up in your body – so yes, you could be pregnant and not get a positive right away. I think even for anyone with a normal period even waiting a few days after you expect it will give you clearer results (even tho a lot of the tests say they can tell you days before your missed period). So just relax for two or three days and then retest. If you don’t get a positive in a week you may want to call your doc to get a blood test done.

oh yes, quite possible 🙂

I was a few days late before getting a BFP – funny thing: I just went for my first ultrasound and baby is measuring a week behind. There were only two times that cycle where a pregnancy was possible 😉 so I feel now like I know it was the second time, which was a week later than the first. (So I just ovulated a little later than I thought)

I’d wait until you’re a few days late and test again.

I’m in the same boat as you….I’m a week late but also it’s my first month off of the pill and I am fairly stressed.  I took two lined tests but nothing there and am thinking about buying the digital test here soon….but my strangest thing is I have no symptoms either way

@WiLLowTreE: test again!

this actually happened to me last month – i was almost TWO WEEKS late – has never ever happened, got 5 negative tests, so i knew i wasn’t, i guess I was stressed & over-thinking it or something. now my schedule is all screwed up!  oh well…

GOOD LUCK! let us know what happens!

@WiLLowTreE:Holding out for you! Good luck! My first month of TTC and only 2nd full month off BC (last year) I was a week late and then averaged about 30-31 day cycles from there on out when I was always 28.
