Do you have one? If so, what’s on it? Things for you? Things for the baby? Some of both?
I have to make a list since we’re doing a Secret Santa for the first time in my family, so we all have to give our gift giver ideas…except I don’t know what I want. I kind of need maternity clothes, but not sure how much or what I need exactly, so I’m stumped on what I’m going to ask for. How about you?

My birthday is also on Christmas, so I’m definitely taking advantage of this being the last Christmas/Bday where it’s all about me instead of all about the baby! There aren’t too many things that I want, as my priorities are already changing between not wanting to fill our new house up with stuff and not feeling like I need “things”, but I kept my list mostly to things for me. There was nothing for the baby on my list this year, as I’m sure between the shower and next year we’ll have more than enough. It was pretty much things for the kitchen or house that I really want, but that haven’t made it to the top of the priority list for Darling Husband and I to buy, like gift cards to put toward a new vacum cleaner. Fuel oil and insulation for the attic have taken over our house budget for the winter.

Hmmmm, some of the things I got last year for Christmas were new slippers, a new robe, a Kindle, and a $100 MotherhoodMaternity gift card. The slippers and robe came in handy for the hospital and the first few weeks after the baby. I LOVE my Kindle, and I’ve downloaded a bunch of baby/parenting books on it. The gift card bought 3 pairs of pants and 5 shirts on sale at MotherhoodMaternity. I got other stuff, too, but that was the main pregnancy/baby related list.

I think my parents are giving us some kind of rocker/recliner chair to stick in the baby’s room. I figured I’d tell my sister that I want some fun bath/body stuff. I also want more pillows (I got a Snoogle for my b-day in October, but as I’m getting more heartburn, I want something to help me sleep more upright-ish). I was thinking of asking for a Nook or a Kindle- I like the idea of telling my husband I need one so I can read up on baby-related stuff!
