I’m having a difficult time finding soft/romantic music for our pianist to play while the guests are arriving. My future husband and I are trying to keep it classic/traditional. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

What about Robert Schumann’s "In the lovely month of May"? (Just the piano part, obviously.) It’s a bit down-tempo, but very wistful and romantic. Also good is Clara Schumann’s "Notturno", from Soirees Musicales.
I guess it’s easier as a list:
From Schubert: (just the piano part)
– Die Forelle
– Heidenroslein (D. 257)
– Standchen (D. 889)
– Concert Etude No. 3 in D-Flat
– Liebestraum No. 1 or No. 3*
– Au bord d’une source (this is a bit faster than the others)
– Nocturne in C Minor (Op. 48, No. 1)
– Prelude in E Minor (Op. 28, No. 4)
– In the lovely month of May*
– Notturno from Soiree Musicales*
The asterisked ones are my favorites, but really they’re all great for setting a romantic tone. They’re all popular, too, so you shouldn’t have problems finding them on youtube or elsewhere on the ‘nets.

I vote for something by Chopin!

I chose Dawn and Georgina from the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack. I ordered the sheet music early and sent it to the musician 1 month before the wedding. It’s beautiful, sounds classical, definitely romantic and not the standard fare.
You can listen to clips of the music online. I bought the tunes and downloaded them onto my IPod.
