How long have you been on the BC?  If it’s recent, your body might be adjusting to the hormones.  My BC period usually starts 3-4 days after I stop taking the active pills.

Possible Too Much Information about to occur..you may have some sort of infection.  They can cause bleeding like that and can also interfere with periods.  It may also be stress related.

Depo can take months to get out of your system.  I think that’s it, especially if you haven’t had a positive pregnancy test.

I think it is that you’re switching between types of BC. It really messes with your body’s system. I’d use backup birth control, too, until your body get’s a little more settled – it’ll help keep you from going crazy wondering if you are pregnant, too!!

It probably is the switching types of BC.  I have had something called BV (bacterial vaginosis or something like that) which is often confused for a yeast infection and can have some or no symptoms but it requires antibiotics to get rid of.  That’s what I had when I had the bleeding issue.  You might want to visit the doc just to see which one it is.

I don’t really have experience with it. But I remember a doctor saying this, “If a pregnancy test (no matter what kind) says that you are pregnant… it can’t be wrong. But if a pregnancy test says that you are not pregnant… it may be wrong or it may be right.”

Granted, the doctor told me this a long time ago… so it could be the wrong advice altogether. I could’ve heard them wrong as well. Good luck 🙂
