I took the Nature Made prenatals with my first baby. I liked that I only had to take one pill a day, but the iron in them was hard on my stomach.

I switched between vita fusion and target gummies for my second baby. I really liked the gummies, and I’m glad I used them.

I also tried the rainbow light with my second baby, and they made me so sick. Too Much Information, but they gave me the worst diarrhea that went away as soon as I stopped. It was horrible!

I take Rainbow Light minis (3 pills a day) and love them. They are very easy to ingest and don’t bother my stomach at all. Only issue is taste/smell, which was an issue during morning sickness. I tried gummies then but thone bothered me.

I take my 3 pills with chocolate milk, which hides the taste well.

Sorry just hijacking the thread a second. I take a multivitamin plus folic acid and a healthy diet. Is i better to take a prenatal then? I always thought folic acid was the only extra thing needed!

I’m taking Costco’s kirkland brand. I couldn’t beat the price. $8 for 300 tablets! As opposed to $20 for 100 of some other brands! They taste really bad, but I take them before bed and brush my teeth right after. They’ve been perfectly fine.

Itsnotme:  Folic acid is the only thing you need when TTC. When you get pregnant, it’s better to switch to a prenatal though, so I think a lot of women just take the prenatal from the start because it doesn’t hurt anything. That’s why I am doing it anyway – in case it ended up being tough on my stomach, I wanted to get use to it before I got pregnant. I haven’t had any issues though.

Garden of Life My Kind Organic Prenatals, and a Vegetarian DHA. I really like both of these.

I took the standard one-a-day prenatal vitamins while I waiting for those to arrive (I ordered them on Amazon) and they made me feel terrible. Fish burps and constipation. I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

I took the vitafusion gummies while TTC and after giving birth. When I was pregnant I took one with iron and I hated it, but I needed the iron at that time.

I picked the smallest ones! I hate trying to swallow giant pills – I don’t know why they bother making them that big anyway… just make them smaller and tell people to take two – sheesh! 😛 This might be one of my pet-peeves – haha (I think mine are the centrum materna ones)

I also take the NatureMade +DHA at night (synthroid in the morning). I started taking them randomly and they turn out to be the same ones my OB recommends. It took a while for me to get used to the size, though.
