i am not pregnant and do not plan to get pregnant for a while (if ever) but my hair and nails are very weak. my nails bend VERY easy and peel. my hair was recently cut and i’m trying to grow it out for my wedding in 12 1/2 months. i heard that taking prenatal vitamins would help my nails and hair become stronger. have you found this to be true?

You could also try to increase your protein intake, healthy fats (like omega 3), and vitamin E as well.

i’ve tried doing that. i was told its becuase i dont get alot of calcium. i wont drink milk but i will eat cheese or yogurt.

Try taking Biotin. I take it twice a day and it’s definitely got my hair growing faster. My nails grow faster too, but they’re already strong and grow really fast, so it was less noticeable than my hair. I started taking prenatls months ago and I think it really did help, but after I started taking biotin, it was a lot faster.
