I have a very weak stomach and I take the Target brand prenatal vitamins, even on an empty stomach I feel perfectly fine! I was pretty happy because they are about $4 here, so try switching to a different brand!

I switched to Target and take them at night instead.

I take the Nature Made Prenatal Multi with DHA.  I was worried about nausea, but I take them every night with dinner and they have never made me nauseous. I would try a different brand or a different time of day and see if that helps.

I use Target and they give me horrible nausea. So, I just take them at night so I can sleep through it.

I take New Chapter food based prenatal, cod liver oil, and herbal supplements.  Cod liver oil and herbal supplements in the morning.  Prenatal in the evening.  Haven’t had any issues.

Take them with food and see if that helps.  I take mine mid-meal so I already have some food in my stomach and will be adding a bit more after I take the vitamin.

Also, if it’s a prenatal that requires you to take more than one pill, take them at different times of the day.  I take one with breakfast and one with dinner and haven’t had any issues.

It’s usually the iron content that causes nausea so unless you need the iron right now, maybe look for one without iron (the gummies don’t have iron) and see if that helps.

I take Rainbow Light Once a Day Prenatal. They’re coated to be easier on the stomach. I usually take mine after my morning oatmeal.

It could be the brand – just like any other medication (I tend to look at any supplement as “medication” or medication like), different brands work better for different people. I have a freind who had a hard time finding a good vegan prenatal and the first one she found made her so sick to her stomach no matter what.

Also, do you take it with food or on an empty stomach? If I take my vitamin on an empty stomach, I feel so nauseous and get a headache. I take a bunch of vitamins daily (pre-natal, Omega-3,6,9 w/ flax seed oil, Zinc, acidophilius, D3, and extra calcium supplement) and if I take ANY of them without food, it happens. Also, it can’t be just like, a graham cracker – it has to be a meal.

I started taking the VitaFusion Prenatal Gummies. They are really good and everyone I know that takes them says they have no nausea. You could always try those.

I take mine at night, after a meal as well.  I also swtiched and started taking Stuart’s prenatals and I don’t get sick with those at all.

Good Luck!!

I had problems with a couple of different brands. They upset my stomach and I was really fatiqued. My doctor recommended just taking woman’s one a day since they have all of the vitamins and folic acid I really need. They are so much better and I have had no reaction.

I take mine at night, right before bed, so I can pass out before they have a chance to make me nauseous.  Otherwise, I’ve had issues with every brand I’ve tried.
