(Closed) Prep Time/Decorating Venue…2.5 hours enough time?

@Ms. Sparkles: Our caterer only scheduled 2 hours to set up. I’d ask them about it because they have it down to a science and are probably able to set up faster than you think.

We had 3 hours to decorate our reception venue the NIGHT before the wedding, and honestly, it only took us 1.5 hours.  We had a lot of friends/family show up, but we were also decorating a venue for 300 guests…which was a LOT of work.  We had to set up all of the tables and chairs, put out place settings, string lights, DIY centerpieces, etc.  I think 2.5 hours is plenty of time, as long as the decorators are aware of how much work is involved.
