(Closed) Prepping Velcro cloth diapers for wash

ah yes.  The BG people will just say fasten the tabs to the laundry tabs… but which ones are those?  They are the velcro strips in the back inside of the diaper.  You should see a fuzzy soft aplix strip on each side.  Make sure to fasten well or you’ll end up with a diaper ball.

To prep we did a soak cycle then a regular cycle with diaper detergent (about half the amount recommended) then another rinse.

Hopefully this explains well enough.  We have the 3.0s.

See, this is why I went with the snaps.  I can’t even wash MB’s bibs without the velcro destroying themselves, so I said to hell with that and opted for the 4.0 BG with snaps.  (I know I’ll regret that later when she’s all squirmy and I can’t snap them on!)

The front velcro is the soft stuff and doesn’t need to be fastened.  It’s just the prickly stuff that makes up the wings ๐Ÿ™‚
