my friend is also getting married and she added me to a Facebook group for uk brides. I’m getting a bit sick of the “pressure” sales techniques to get people to part with their hard earned cash.
from “if you don’t have a videographer, you’ll regret it” to “don’t have a live band they’re so much worse than a DJ”
do these people really think they’re going to get business like this, they know fine well the emotions attatched to a wedding and clearly play on it

Part of what I loved about all our vendors was how low-pressure they were. I didn’t feel pressured into using any of them, I chose them because I genuinely loved what they offered. I hate high pressure sales tactics and it would definitely turn me off to a vendor.

Vendors who use high pressure generally don’t have many clients….thus the reason why they are trying so hard to get your money. Haha

whoswho : sales pressure is horrible, so much worse when they know they are playing on your emotions. You should refuse to buy from anyone who does that to you. And I think live music would be awesome.
