I am in the begining stages of dress shopping. Mainly wayyy too much time looking at dresses in magizines and online. I had picked out my top choices when the other day I became over come with the desire to have a pink dress. I have started looking and my biggest problem is that I worried it will not look bridal and end up looking like a prom dress. What are yall’s feelings on pink dresses? Also does anyone have ideas of where to find them? My internet searches have turned out dresses but with out designers or they are from like 3 years ago.

White by Vera Wang (available at David’s Bridal) has a VERY bridal looking beautiful pink dress. There are some Bees that have tried it on and have pics posted on here. Hopefully, one will respond and you can see their pics.

I love them! I came across these pics of a wedding that happened at my venue last year and could not get over how gorgeous this blush-colored dress is.
And I saw this dress (or one very similar to it) on that show “Girl Meets Gown” once and also fell totally in love with it.

It can totally still look bridal, especially when you go with a nice full dress in a light pink/blush color. But go with whatever you like!

My dress has a blush liner! I think it totally adds to the dress to have a pop of color!

A friend of mine who was just married had a purple liner and I loved it. If I cannot find a pink dress I like I will definitely have a pink liner or maybe see if I can have pink tulle added to the dress. But I am still holding out. Thank yall for your input and I love that dress from “Girl Meets Gown” and that show is filmed in Plano just north of Dallas where I live!!!

I’m going to wear a blush pink gown… I had the same fear, but when you try it on and have a veil and your hair done and jewels and all that jazz, it tooootally looks bridal. Also, remember, in context, you’re obviously clearly going to be a bride, you’ll be walking down an aisle!! Everyone will be impressed with your slightly “different” choice and if they say otherwise, they’re just jealous they didn’t think of it first 😉
