I started taking B6 + Unisom (at my doctor’s suggestion) when nausea hit around 6 weeks. It took a few days before I noticed a difference, but then it definitely took the edge off…I would puke once a day rather than 4-5 times a day lol. I don’t think taking it while TTC would prevent morning sickness if you’re prone to that, but it might help make it milder when it does hit. That said, if I get pregant again I’ll probably wait to start the B6/Unisom regimen until I feel sick – the feeling of sickness is kinda reassuring that things are headed in the right direction!

I’m almost 7 weeks along but for me I started taking prenatal vitamins 4 months before I got pregnant. I don’t know if that helped or I am just lucky? So far I try to eat a small meal every 4 hours and I have not been sick except the one time I skipped a meal and I threw up twice that morning. I’m hoping as I get further along morning sickness doesn’t get worse.

Fortunately, I did not experience severe morning sickness, but it is interesting that your friend’s combination of supplements is very similar to Shaughnessy Bishop Stall’s recommendation in Hungover.

I’ve been told that a really good multi vitamin can definitely prevent morning sickness
