Hi bees 🙂
I have not begun the dress shopping process yet (my wedding is still a year and a half away) but I have started to search online. I am DEFINITELY a bride on a budget. I have seen in a couple of places that the gorgeous Mori Lee gowns are very affordable, but I want to know exactly HOW affordable.
So, if you would kindly post a picture of your dress (it can be from the website or on you, either is fine) and state roughly how much it cost, you’d be doing me a huge favor and I would be very grateful! Thanks in advance 🙂 🙂 🙂
EDIT: Also, could anyone provide me with an opinion/timeframe of how long before the wedding I should order my dress?

My dress ended up being $770 with tax (not including alterations, i have not had them done yet). I originally found the dress at a salon about 30 miles from where I live and the price on it there was 1050…but a salon closer to my home did not have it in stock but could order it, and their price was 899, and to intice me to buy from them, they also gave me 20 percent off. So total came to 770 🙂 Great quality at a great price!! 🙂 Mori Lee Blu 4912!

And about how far in advance to order…I ordered mine at the end of April and the salon told me the expected ship date was August 8th…but it came in 2 months early…but they say to allow at least 3 to 4 months to be safe.

My dress also came in months early, and I have heard from other ML brides that theirs showed up early as well. As long as it wasn’t late, I didn’t care when it came!

Mine was just over $500 with tax:

Sorry the photo is sideways, but the dress was $518 (did not come with the belt). The belt was ~$200, and alterations are $300, plus I added a hoop in the skirt because it was itchy and I wanted it to be off my legs ($85). I spent more on the extras than the dress itself!!

Under a grand for the blu line. Most of the ones I was seeing were around 6 or 7 hundred.
