I would post that information on the website only.  You might also be able to spread the info by word of mouth.  You’re right, the valet parking is expensive!

I agree, post to the wedding website, not the actual invitation.

The invite isn’t the place to mention that information. However, not everyone will access a website for your wedding. They do need that info so that it doesn’t come as a nasty surprise, but really, guests should never be expected or asked to open their wallets for any reason at the wedding. If you can’t afford to pay the parking fees yourselves, then find an alternative so that guests do not have to pay.

Hmm that is a tough choice – I mean the valet would be awesome for your guests but it is pricey! If it is within your budget I would say do it – it will help out your guests a lot unless the parking garage has ample parking. Im not sure about saying anything about it. I would not put something in the actual invitation. If anything I would post it on the website but the first parking option I would mention is the free parking/self parking (how much does it cost) and THEN mention the valet.Unless your guests are going to have to walk really far or it is going to be really cold out then I would say valet isnt necessary.

i would just post it on the website. that’s a lot of money… i don’t think it’s bad if you don’t pay it if it’s not in the budget.

Website.  And we heard from many vendors, that it is very customary for guests to pay for their own parking.

i will also vote for not including it in the invitation, and putting it on the website and spreading the info by word of mouth.

Website for sure.  I would put it both on your accomodations page and on your directions information page as well.
