Lord, mine’s around a grand. But I’ve always wanted a Vera Wang dress and it was on clearance too at David’s Bridal. It was exactly what I wanted and in my size. Love at first sight.

2500 for bodice, skirt, belt incl tax. Close to 700 in alterations as i needed the top lined, cups added, some hemming, and the stupid bustle is like 15-20 points so it folds in nicely instead of being one lumpy fold. It’s a dumb amount of money but what the hey. Life is short. Oh! Got some Nina Shoes for 50 bucks at DSW. No veil. Wedding is in 3 weeks so jury’s out if the expense was worth it! 🙂

Mine was $1198 before tax. I still have alterations to do which should be very minimal and just taking some length at the bottom since I’m so short, lol.

Custom made from a local designer. $1500 CAD plus taxes all in. Shoes and accessories will be extra. Our plan is to elope in Vegas so it’s one of our few splurges.

Dress was $331.45 with shipping and alterations were $346.40. I lost probably 3 dress sizes before my final fitting so a lot of alterations were needed. And my “wedding dress” was actually an ivory bridesmaids dress; I’m 5’1″ but ordered it with extra length and had a small train altered in.

$4200, then have to factor in alterations as the size I bought was a bit larger than what I plan to be on my wedding day a year from now. So I am thinking $5k in total. I didn’t really want my parents to spend so much but the dress is unforgettable, and I plan on wearing it after my wedding even if I have to be sitting in my bathtub.

I’ve seen amazing gowns for $500 and super trashy looking ones for $12,000. I think when you find the gown that makes you feel like a queen, you’ll know. But start by selecting designers who are in your price range. Don’t pull a Kleinfeld Pnina Tornei if you know you only have $2k to spend.

Both my dresses were Monique Lhuillier.
First was purchased for $1000, retail $9K
Second was purchasd for $1500, retailed $20K

Alterations were $400/each which included a ton of work and hemming dozens of layers of tulle, beading and I clearly did not pay the women enough.

I knew what I wanted and I looked for deals, sample sales, and came in with an open mind. I would’ve settled on one but the blushing mauve dress was too beautiful to pass but needed a white one too.

Mine is an older season Maggie Sottero that is usually ~$1,000, and I got a sample that looks brand new for $475 plus shipping. Don’t know how much alterations are going to be yet, eek.
