We are having a garden wedding so I want to bring a little of the garden into our tent with the place cards.
Instead of just tucking the cards (which are actually seed packets so they will double as our favors) into the flowers or grass I wanted to use coiled wire to hold them. like the picture below.
But Mom thinks I should just buy florist cardettes (the three prong plastic stakes that hold the notecard) which would look something like this:
I was all set to go the wire route except I can’t find the wire anywhere local (Home Depot? Lowes? Michaels? no…) and buying online it will cost 4x more than buying the plastic cardettes.
1) Is it worth it to spend the extra time and money for the wire curls? I think once the cards are gone they will still look nice in the flower box, instead of empty cheap plastic pitch forks. But will anyone else notice or care?
2)Where can I find the cheapest 12-14g wire online. (silver, copper, red or purple… not too picky)
