Go to FoodNetwork.com, search “Prime Rib” and make whatever sounds best to you!  I love Prime Rib!  Wishing I had some right now, as a matter of fact…. Smile

I’ve never cooked it either, but I used to go to a restaurant that made it with those thin crispy onion straws.  Omgosh.  SO GOOD.

Oh man those are good. My grandmother usually does them on holidays and birthdays.  She does some kind of peppery rub and injects whole garlic cloves in the meat *drool* I know she uses a meat thermometer but that’s all I know haha!

I think she learned it by watching food network. It’s funny cuz she makes all these dishes from these shows and she doesn’t even speak english!

@bakerella:  I’m sure there’s an actual name for them, but I’m so tired I can’t think straight.

@bakerella:  Definitely are.  I say give it a try!  I’ll have to try this out one night too now that I remembered.

Try Alton Brown’s recipe for a rib roast.  It is the BEST.  My hubby makes it frequently and it’s very, very good.
