(Closed) Prince William NOT wanting to wear a wedding ring?

  • poll: Would you be okay with your husband not doing the ring exchange?

Wouldn't mind if he at least did the exchange, but took it off later.

Wouldn't mind if he didn't do the exchange or wore it ever.

    Of course I would mind!

    Not bothered either way.

If my husband was Prince William, I wouldn’t care. There is not a warm-blooded woman alive who doesn’t know that he is taken! My husband, however – ring, please!

My Fiance is getting a wedding ring but will only wear his sometimes for special occasions etc.  It doesn’t bother me.  I don’t think it makes him any less committed.

My brother didn’t want a ring at all.  Instead of being awkward and only having a one-sided ring exchange at their wedding ceremony, he borrowed his FIL’s ring for his wife to “give” him during the ceremony.. and then gave it right back after the wedding.

I have far more important things to worry about than whether my Fiance will be wearing a piece of metal on his finger. I know he loves me, that’s all I need. I really don’t see what the big deal is about this, considering it’s not even a tradition in most parts of the world.

Hmm, I would be hurt if he didn’t want to wear the ring ever, but the ring exchange is not a big deal to me.

I think their situation is different than the average joe- so in his case, I wouldn’t mind.

In my situation, he better wear it!

I am not worried about my man not wanting to wear a ring…I think it ludicrus to say that because a man HAS a ring he is any more committed than a man who does NOT wear a ring…my man has been faithfully lovingly committed to me for over 8 years, no question of tha fidelity between us two, and his choice to not wear a ring bears no significance on our vows to eachother.

A good man is a good man, ring or not, the little band of gold will neither stop nor deter a bad man from straying, in fact for some women the “challenge” of a married man is like sport…

    Girls, the ring doesn’t matter

I don’t know.  My guy works in public safety so likely will not wear it during the work day, but will wear it otherwise.  I try not to get nag-like about that.  I’d prefer he wear it 24/7, but I completely understand why he can’t.

My Fiance is a have equip mechanic and rings can be extremely dangerous to wear while working on machienery so he probably won’t won’t wear it a whole lot during the week considering he gets off at 5-6 and unless we go out there’s no reason to wear it…I trust him.
