I have a princess center in a halo with millgrain. I don’t find it hard to keep clean at all but I take my rings off when I’m doing any majorly messy cooking or cleaning. Here are some close up pics of my ring so you can see details.

I just got the millgrain around the sides. I hemmed and hawed over that but decided to just stick to the sides. Millgraining around the pave in the halo just made me nervous about the stones falling out. And thank you. Mine was custom too.

I don’t have a princess diamond, but I have a custom round halo with milligrain and thought i’d give my experience anyways! the milligrain is on the halo and just beneath the diamond, and along the inside on the band. I don’t have any trouble with cleaning or it getting dirty, I just clean it every night to make sure its always sparkly clean 🙂 Here is my original CAD image, we added more milligrain after this lol

I also have a princess cut in a halo with milgrain so I’m biased but I love it!

I love milgrain. This is a round but it is milgrained around the halo and the diamond And on the band as well.

Not sure if this is helpful. I don’t know the proper terminology. My ring doesn’t have the texture, but there is metal bordering the halo. It was something they added when I had my ring remade, and I think that it makes it look and feel a lot sturdier. I personally like it more than the other way around!

Thank you! Honestly I have no idea. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help! If you want to steal my picture and show it to your jewler, you totally can. I’m sure they will know how to do all of that good stuff!
