I didn’t get a chance to post on that thread, but I have one! I love, love, love the setting, but the scratching/poking kind of depends on how you have it set on the band. I have prongs that go all the way down to my finger, and there’s a little kite set metal plate at the very base of my ring that touches my finger. If I’m not careful, then it will sometimes dig into my finger a very little bit. But, I think once the wedding band is with it for good, it won’t be such a problem. Here’s a picture for reference, I hope it helps?

I’ve never had any problems with mine catching on anything, in case you are still wondering.  Well…no more than it would if were set the other way, I suppose!  I have sort of mauled DH’s arm and hand with it a few times unintentionally, though…but that is just ot my being clutzy, not the way the ring is set!  🙂

I have a kite seting (have had it for about a year and six months) and I have not had any problems with scratching anything.
