Hello Bees ๐
I saw this video and found it to be interesting. It talks about how princess “signature” cut diamonds are not necessarily as sparkly and as well cut as a consumer may believe them to be (internet purchases especially). There was a reasoning given for this, but it is late and my brain is not functioning at full capacity LOL. Something about physical inspections? Anyways, the guy shows a K colored diamond properly cut “signature” compared to an alleged “signature” cut from another jeweler that was a higher color and etc. In the one lighting, there no substantial difference aside from color, but when put in spot lighting, the k colored diamond sparkled so much more! I had no idea that there were some issues like this associated with princess cuts. Sounds like false advertising to me. Maybe I am missing something? I am personally a marquise cut girl myself, but figured I would pass it along because it was intriguing to me. Have a great day everyone :-). What do you all think? Thanks for taking the time to read this!
