I’ve been hunting around the net for a good addition to my engagement ring, but can’t seem to find anything that fits just right with the setting. It’s a princess cut solitaire with square anchors on the edges holding the diamond and tall pins. Check out the attached picture.
Any ideas are encouraged! My wedding isn’t until Feb 2014, so I’ve got some time to brainstorm.
Thank you! -Dev

Your setting is high so you can do pretty much anything.

Hmmmm…are we thinking eternity band? Matching plain band? Color? Any pretty thing that suits your fancy? 😛

I was set on a plain band until I found this one when we were on vacation in Maui. It looks really lovely with my engagement ring.

I have that exact same setting and This is what I chose:
But then I turned it….
Ignore my swollen fingers in the second pic…lol they usually don’t look like that!

We have simliar E-rings. I like simple, so I chose a simple band that I love with tiny princess diamonds in it.

@DeadlyNightshade: I’m honestly not too sure. At first I was thinking a simple eternity band, but I’m liking some of the other options now too! I do want some diamonds. The plain matching band is gorgeous, but doesn’t feel like a full wedding ring to me, just a larger engagement ring.

I have a princess cut, and decided to go with a thin pave band. I love the look together:

@sarahbabs: love the look of the smaller band.. Gorgeous set!

My ring is not exactly a solitary princess cut (it has small round diamonds on each side) but this is the band I decided to wear with it.. I also loved the look of a thinner diamond band

I have a princess solitaire that is kite set now, but wasn’t when I first got married. I have a slightly contoured band that has a small gap NOW, but when the stone was set like yours (same setting shape!) it sat totally flush, no gap.
