Ooh me. Princess cut, V prongs (had to look that up, though it was pretty obvious once I did 🤦‍♀️).

For reference it is 0.74 ct on size 6. I really like the reverse taper how it narrows towards the stone, and how it has a sort of closed cathedral thing going on. I also like the squareness of the basket, but it does mean that I needed a curved wedding band.

mrsjsh :  Thanks! If your heart is set on a princess square, then V prongs are the way to go, as they definately emphasize it. I’ve seen many princess rings with other type prongs that just really detract fro the look.

I have a 1 ct. princess. I asked for v-prongs when the jeweler made my setting, but they aren’t as sharp as I would have liked. I never got them re-shaped and I love my ring regardless.

This was when I first got the ring, my prongs were a bit more “v-like” at that point, but I think wear and tear has softened them up.

I don’t have any princess diamonds, but I just wanted to say congratulations on 20 years!
