Hey fellow bees! So FH and I are looking at wedding bands and trying to make a couple decisions! I just wanted your opinions and I’d love to see what you have!
FH and I are young, (19,18) and on a budget, but considering this, I think he did a wonderful job on my engagement ring! It’s a gorgeous princess cut 1/3 solitaire in white gold.
I ADORE my ring. It’s exactly what I wanted, and he didn’t blow our budget getting it! Now I am trying to pick a wedding band…I would really like to get a little more sparkle in with the band.
I have considered a few enhancers like some of these –
I have also considered some bands like these!
What are your thoughts!? What are you girls doing? Any advice is welcome!
Also, if we cant afford diamonds, we are considering simple matching bands. Is this too old fashioned?

Almost ring twins!! Mine is 1/4 ct, yellow gold princess cut. We don’t have the biggest budget, but I did want a little more bling with the wedding band. I found this gorgeous illusion setting on etsy.
It is yellow and white gold which I think will match because my e-ring band is yellow, but the V prongs are white gold. Don’t know if that helps, but I fell in love with it and I think ANYTHING goes with a classic solitaire!

When we were looking at princess solitaires, I wanted two bands (one either side of my engagement ring) similar to the one above. Obviously it would make more sense for you to get a five or seven stone ring, but I really love the look of a solitaire with a band that looks like little solitaires close together.
From the options you posted, I much prefer the bands from eBay – I think wedding sets look nicer when all the stones are the same shape.

I have about the same ring but 1/2 ct, and I am in the same boat as you trying to figure out a band. Your last ring with the simple bands, isn’t old fashioned at all! I’ve looked at either going lots of bling or simple and elegant like that. Plus, when the funds are right, you can upgrade for anniversaries, so always keep that in mind. You should look at enhancers. I’m a fan of the bands on both sides, but I think it’s a matter of trying them on to see if they fit right with your hand.
I must applaud you on sticking to a budget, so many people don’t. My hubby to be and I are saving for a house and it doesn’t make sense to put more money into a ring instead of putting it towards a home for our future kids. Let us know what you end up going with & congrats!! 🙂

I have a princess solitair plain band with a half eternity round stone wedding band. I like how they don’t match exactly. Sorry weird pic
