Center stone is 1.03 and the setting is about 3/8 tw.  I believe that the band is about 1/3 tw.

@whaleigh:  I have the same ring! I can’t find the right band that goes with it though without making a gap!

The center stone is almost 1.4k (1.39 I think?), but I never bothered to remember the rest of the specs (other than being conflict free– that was very important).  All I know is I love it πŸ™‚

@whaleigh:  no they were purchased separately and about 12 months apart, but from the same jeweller. A complete fluke! πŸ™‚

I can’t wear my band yet because we just got it not too long ago and it needs resizing and soldering lol. My e-ring is 1.00 carat and I don’t know the tcw of the band.

@whaleigh:  We went together.  The plan was just to look at styles to show now-DH what I like.  I thought I knew what I wanted– princess cut with trillion side stones– but when I actually saw that style on my finger, I didn’t like it.  Darling Husband pointed to the setting of the ring that’s now mine, and while it wouldn’t have caught my attention on its own, I put it on for Darling Husband, and when the jeweler placed the diamond on top, we both said “wow.”  And the longer we looked other rings, the lower the prices were going (we went in the morning, and one of DH’s friends who has family in the jewelry business and said they work hard to make sure the first person in is a sale, under a superstician that that impacts the whole day, so maybe that helped?).  So I left the room, and he made the purchase.  I didn’t get it for over 2 months, as he still wanted to do a grand proposal.  So I like that I was there to see that I didn’t like what I thought I wanted, so I never wondered ‘what if,’ and also that it was Darling Husband who actually picked it out.

As an aside, I later found this costume ring, and I love it.  Turns out that with trillions, I prefer a colored, emerald cut stone. πŸ™‚  If we have a child, perhaps I’ll ask for this style ring with her/his birthstone πŸ™‚
