princessggg:  I like it with the halo!! Idk I just think it looks much better. 🙂 How many carats is your center stone going to be?

I sort of like the pointy halo, but I’m so personally bored of halos at this point. They’re everywhere! And I think a princess cut looks better when it’s allowed to be the center of attention without much added to it, so I say go for the solitaire.

I like the set without the halo better.  I am not a huge fan of halos, though.  I like the stone to be the star.  Halos are too busy for my taste!  Everyone has different prferences though!

I prefer the solitaire look- but that’s just me. I don’t like the look of halos on my finger. But it’s all up to personal taste.  I have a friend with a princess halo that’s really pretty on her.

I like the one without the halo; I think it showcases the center stone better.

princessggg:  I like with out as I think the halos take away from the main stone

I usually looove halos, but in this case I like it without.  That halo is very severe with the 90 degree angles and it distracts from the stone, rather than enhances it.

You already have a solitaire, right?  If so then get the halo to change it up.

I love halos but I personally prefer princess solitaires over princess halos.  I have a princess solitaire (picked out by DH) and tried on a princess halo but I much prefered the solitaire.  I think the solitaire shows off the princess shape better than the halo, plus, there’s something about the sleekness of the solitaire that gets lost in the halo setting.

Usually I am a sucker for a halo but between these two settings, I prefer the solitaire.

I love halos but in this case not with a process cut stone it’s too pointy and almost looks cheap to me :/ what about a cushion cut halo? They are gorgeous and just in between a princess and round

When we looked at rings I had decided absolutely no halos if I got a Princess because the stock images all looked so pointy and harsh. Then! I saw one I’m person at the store and loved it! i feel like halos are pretty common right now, but I have only ever seen a princess halo like mine on the bee, most look more like a cusion after the halos added. Speaking from experience, it won’t look so harsh in person. People compliment my ring daily actually! Really happy with our choice!
