I personally think that the stone in the halo is much, much nicer. It has a depth that doesn’t seem as superficial as the top one.

Princess cut is my favorite cut! I have a 1ct diamond and a 1.88ct moissanite in princess cut. I am in love with the halo you have it’s stunning! They are both gorgeous but I prefer the halo! Let us know what you decide.

I would keep the most sentimental one. Sentiment wins every time IMO, so sorry for your loss.
lucky for you they both look stunning on you!

You can also look at putting the halo stone into the soli setting. Maybe get a similar sized coloured stone to put in the DK setting?

That halo is gorgeous! And you should keep it for the sentimental reasons too. I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband 🙁

@bgswifey:  I also wanted to express how sorry I am for your loss.

Both settings are beautiful, and both stones are also beautiful. But I think the stone in your halo setting is nicer, overall. It has a lot more rainbow sparkle and depth in the comparison photos. (Also, that halo setting looks amazing on you! That’s not to say the solitaire doesn’t. It’s just that the halo setting makes me say “wow” when I see pics of it.)
