First off, I love all things disney. I know, but I can’t help myself. I once stood outside of a mall at 2am wating for the Disney store to open so I could buy the last of the five designer princess dolls to come out. Anyway, I was goofing off online and found these gorgeous rings!! I’m a little upset that Jasmine and Ariel’s qoutes are mixed up, but what are ya gonna do? My absolute favorite is Snow White, and she’s also my favorite princess ๐ So which princess are you?

I love Disney Princesses. My daughter is having a princess party. Okay to answer your question I relate more to Belle. She has always been my favorite. Everyone always says that I keep my head in a book and I look at people from the inside out.

Is there an intelligent one who doesn’t need a man to be considered successful?

@peachacid I’m pretty sure most of them are intelligent. Mulan saved the world BEFORE she had a man.
To answer the poll, while I don’t relate myself most to her, Cinderella is my favorite.

@Doodle411: I think whoever put up the images just mixed up Jasmine and Ariel. I’ve seen these rings before, and I’m quite certain they’ve been switched. Blue is Jasmine’s color, and Ariel is purple, green with the red (for her hair). Hope that makes you feel better!
I really love Rapunzel’s ring, but I think it’s because I’m partial to purple (so that’s what I voted)! I always liked Belle the most because she loves reading ๐

Merida (from Brave) is the closest. Though the storyline is a little flat, her character is strong. You get the sense that maybe her character will get up to some true heroics, travel, and adventure at a later point, if she doesn’t fall into implied threatened trap of accepting becoming a copy of the the tedious, spiritless “mother”-stereptype co-leader that her mother is, and to never, ever, ever, go more than a few hours’ journey away from the castle. Escape, Merida! Let your rebellion from the oppressive stereotypes not be over! Asserting your freedom like that which has been granted to males is not selfish irresponsibility that will destroy your parents and community, as this movie implies!

On this I agree with Nicki Minaj, though: “I am not Jasmine, I am Alladin.” Get with the times, Disney! It’s 2013, time to start making movies with princesses that we can feel good about our daughters aspiring to be.

I like to always say that I’m Lilo and my husband is Stitch. It’s shockingly fitting. Not really a princess, but hey, whatever.
Princess wise, I like Pocohantas the best though.

@peachacid: Mulan? Merida from Brave? Pocahontas (in a sense- after all, she was the one saving the guy, not the other way around!)
