Ariel is my favorite princess and I love the ring! Same goes for Pocohontas. I’d be happy with either one.
Oh…I voted for which ring I liked best. I dont think that’s what we’re doing now that I’m reading the posts? In that case, I take back a vote for Pocahontas and put in a vote for….idk maybe Jasmine?? lol i feel like I’m a mixture of them all!
Ariel… Took me a long time to be comfortable in my own skin. I’m def a seeker and a searcher (and a collector! Lol)
But back to the thread, I’m sticking with my villainesses. However, if I did have to choose a princess, it would be a toss-up between Mulan and Merida.
I’d be Rapunzel. I’m all dancing and overly enthusiastic excitement. But I love the Pocahontas ring! And the Cinderella ring! If these were $30 each instead, I would be all over it.
I didn’t even know there were rings to this thread. Merida would have a claddagh ring if she had a husband. Because she doesn’t have a husband (yet) I guess she would have a ring simply befitting a Scottish princess.
I’m imagining a large emerald-cut emerald in yellow gold (Welsh gold, natch) with celtic scrollwork, maybe with celtic animal shapes, or will o’wisp shapes, on the band. I’d love a ring like that!
If Alladin was a female (Alladina saving Jasmid), she would have a ring befitting the fact that she is a “diamond in the rough,” so her mother-in-law, the Sultana, would probably offer her her heirloom “mystic blue diamond” (recovered from that beeyotch Jafarette’s lair), which Jasmid would reset into a rough texured looking band and offer to Alladina. Perfect!
My favorite princess has always been Ariel. I had an in-ground pool growing up and practically lived in it and always pretended to be her lol.
As far as those rings, I like Cinderella’s the most.
And Ariel and Jasmine are switched in those pictures…
Anyway, I’m Cinderella 🙂
This is cool. They really have the feel of the princess.
However, a friend recently pointed out another way to see them:
Some of the princesses (Belle, Mulan, Pochontas) actually saved the men, instead of being saved by them. Just because they fell in love, as well, doesn’t make them weak – after all, most of us are on this site because we fell in love with someone, but that doesn’t make us weak or poor role models.
In response to the OP – I’m a book addict, so probably Belle. I wouldn’t make a very good princess, though.
Ursula. She’s funny, badass, and has body confidence. Not that I’m any of those things – I’m probably more like Scuttle.
I’m only Belle because my Fiance is a giant, furry Beast.
