Aww the Disney Princess Line!! The Tiana looks very flattering on you!! I agree with the other ladies that just adding in some sparkle here and there with Jewelry and maybe your hair would look awesome.

I really wanted the Belle dress from the line… but I went for something lighter and simpler. I didn’t feel like it was really “me”.

I think it’s normal to second guess… I have been second guessing mine too since I bought it the beginning of the month… I keep wondering if I went too simple.. if it’s not elegant enough. But, I look back through the pictures and begin accessorising in my head and I see the total look come together-and it’s perfect!

Try to remember envisioning the final look in your head when you look at the try-on pictures… I find it helps me! 🙂

Congratulations, you will make a beautiful bride in the Tiana.

I’m either having my hair like this-  with a comb similar to this-

Or in a side ponytail-

I now have my dress at my Mums house but the photos my sister took are awful so i’m waiting for my Maid/Matron of Honor to email me her’s. Here’s some-

The shop told me the recommended hoop was a 1 hoop 2 layer petticoat so i’m going to get one. The above photos is without the hoop i believe but it looked SO much better with!!

Here I am in “my” Tiana. It was the first dress I tried on and I loved it instantly, tried on others the same day and nothing came close. It was too early to order in my mind so I didn’t get it the first time (plus I had another appointment that day too and I wanted to be sure). I knew it was the right dress, until I read about Church Street Bridal on here. I made the 9 hour road trip (round trip) and bought a dress there. Within 10 minutes of the ride home I knew I made the wrong choice. I called AA the next morning and they fit me in before they opened. I didn’t even need to see the dress on me, as soon as I felt the consultant lacing the corset up I knew. So, I ordered that day. Long story short – here is my dress.

I have also picked this dress for my wedding day – I went in to the dress shop with my heart set on either the snow white or ariel dress but after trying this one on nothing else seemed to compare. I picked it about 8 months ago and have been worrying that it isn’t ‘the one’ but after seeing all your lovely pictures I feel sure now that it is ‘the one’. The shop assistant took me to one side after i’d chosen the princess tiana dress and said i had 100 percent made the right decision. I didn’t take any photos at the time but wish I had now. I’ve also had the same indecision about what I’m going to do with my hair as everybody else i don’t want to have it all down as I really want to show off the one shoulder feature of the dress (thats my favourite bit of it you see) so I just need to decide whether i want to go half up and half down or all up!!!

Thanks everybody for your helpful posts Smile

@Naomi Houldsworth: My bridal consultant told me not many people pick the Tiana because it is a hard dress to wear but, she said the people that pick it are the right ones because they really make the dress. So all of you lovely ladies are the right ones 🙂

And one last comment – I love how this dress looks so much better on every “real” bride I have ever seen it on than it does on the model. All of you ladies look beautiful!
