Are you printing on white paper?  I used to sell wedding stationery and can definitely tell you that if you’re trying to print all of that grey on a card, it will be a nightmare.  Have you considered calling digital printers in your area?

I was able to order 150 digitally printed save the dates on both sides for $100 including the paper.  I think you should be able to do it for a few hundred dollars.

I have an HP Photosmart Plus which I use to print on 75 lb cardboard stock and photo paper all the time. I haven’t tried heavy linen paper with it, though. I would suggest you take a piece of that paper with you to Best Buy or a place that has the printer so you can see it in person, and see if you can run it through and what the print looks like before you buy it.
