The last two printers I’ve had have been Canon.  i have also been very pleased with HPs.  I will be using an HP color laser printer for my invites.

I also used the opprotunity of DIYing my own invites to buy our printer. I looked alot and found great reviews on the HP Photosmart printer & I was very pleased. I thought the quality looked crisp & clean.

In addition to our invites I also printed our photo table numbers off the printer & again was pleased with the quality.

We bought ours from amazon and I believe it was just under $200.

I’m a big HP fan. I’ve had three HP printers myself, and even pursuaded my bosses to get us one this year for our office. I’ve had both laser and inket printers. Don’t really have any preference on that I guess.

And an electronics shopping tip – try to shop at an electronics store in person, with employees who don’t make comission. I’ve bought a few things at Best Buy and have been happy with their service and honest suggestions. They even have demo printers so you can see right there how things compare side-by-side.

If you end up not buying a printer, you can always have stuff printed at Kinkos. I’ve printed several business-related things there and they always turn out great. They have a great guarentee too.

I have a Samsung wireless, laser (color) printer. I LOVE IT! But, if you have a desktop, I would suggest just getting a regular wired printer…setting up the wireless network for the printer can be a pretty big pain. Great quality in color, and I get about 1500+ pages per ink catridge.

I have a Lexmark 1240 at work that I absolutely LOATHE!  If I could “Office Space” that puppy and not get fired, I would in a heartbeat.

At home I have a 952 HP printer that I love, it is over 10 years old and still chugging along.

I think both are ink jet.
