I  don’t know anything about print shops, but in comparing the costs of having someone else print, would it be cheaper to buy a new printer that will take your cardstock? Just a thought. Good luck!

@SouthernGirl:  Does your printer have a rear feed tray?  I have a canon pixma and it prints on cardstock just fine as long as I use mine.

I have an Epson workforce where the paper feeds from the bottom, and I managed to get Lettra’s 300gsm through it. You really need to do just one page at a time. If the feeding rollers aren’t working, it might be because they have dust or something on them. Periodically I run through a sheet of printer paper that’s soaked in rubbing alcohol to clear them out.

Did you try just putting one sheet in the feeder tray?  I had a printer that hated card stock, but it would do it if I fed it to it one sheet at a time.  It was a pain, but it got the job done.

@SouthernGirl:  Try the rubbing alcohol trick. You take a piece of regular printer paper and pour some onto the center. Try not to get it on the edges or your printer might have trouble grabbing it.

@SouthernGirl:  You want it to be damp, not dripping. It’s worked great for me, but I take no responsibility if for some reason it doesn’t work/ruins your printer. Innocent

Edit: GREAT!
