So I got all enthusiastic and bought a bunch of paper in various sizes (5×7″, 4.25×5.75″, 3.5×5″) for the various components to our DIY invites. I have the design as a PDF, good to go. I was patting myself enthusiastically on the back this morning when I got a call from a local printer who said they don’t print on anything smaller than an 8.5×11″ sheet. UH OH!
Can I get these precut cardstocks printed on?! I haven’t tried FedEx Office or any of the bigger chains–this was a small shop mostly geared toward business stuff. Has anyone had experience with this?

I would be supprised if you couldn’t find a company who can print on it. Keep on looking.

I’ve had all my printing done at the local college!
I would call the one in your area & talk with their media department. Printing through them has saved me LITERALLY HUNDREDS of dollars! & I’m very happy with the quality as they do all their campus printing in house.
I just dropped off my paper for our programs this morning (4.75×6.75)
4 cents 1 sided blk/wht for the sides of the pages that will have our engagement pics
I need 400 prints which will cost me a whole $16.00 =)
I’m printing the other side on my home computer b/c it’s not a heavy print (just words) & they said that with the way the paper goes through the bi-pass tray for special sized paper, that the 1st side was likely to get messed up.
I normally print on their paper, but I ordered special paper for this project… All I had to do was take in a few sheets to make sure it wouldn’t jam the machine. It didn’t and we were good to go!
Definitely give the college a call! We almost had to go to Office Depot one day b/c a machine was down but printing at O.D. was going to cost 140 dollars where waiting a waiting was going to cost a whopping 10 bucks!
Yea.. HUGE difference =)
