So we should be getting the hi res files in the mail soon. In the meantime our photographer has our pics up on her site available for purchase. We’ve purchased a few 8x10s and 5x7s but we find that her 4×6 prints are too expensive (considering we want to order about 200 of them to make our own photo album)
What kind of print lab did you use for your run of the mill 4×6 photos? or any size for that matter?
Costco, Walgreens, Snapfish services? Please let me know as I don’t require top of the line quality but want something that can hold up nicely in a photo album. Any good experiences?

FleeSircus: I’m getting notifications about people replying to this thread but I don’t see it on the actual thread.
Really not liking the new bee. I used to come multiple times a day and now I’m at about 2 times a week. Bummer.

PLEASE do not print from a drugstore or superstore lab. As a photographer, their crappy prints do not acurately show the photographs as they should be, and it breaks my heart to see my hard work displayed this way. If you are looking for a good quality place to print from your disc at consumer prices, try MPIX.com, this is where I direct my clients.

MPIX is great- I have also used Shutterfly and they aren’t too bad. I prefer MPIX

atomic: That’s good to know. My wedding was this past weekend and I was thinking of printing some 4×6 at Costco or somewhere. Now I know not to.

I send my clients to mpix.com or adoramapix.com – they are the best consumer quality you will be able to find. Drugstores, snapfish, shutterfly all mangle pictures. They have repeatedy made my brides look like oompa loompas with the skin tone.
