I shared some teasers back in September from our 8/28/2012 Canadian elopement. Here are a few more as I just got the final DVD in the mail!
We got ready in the same room, but I did not get into my gown until H left the room. We also did a first look right before the ceremony. Then we walked into the ceremony together arm in arm, which is a Swedish custom. British Columbia requires two witnesses. My ILs were the only invited people. We did not think they’d make the 800 mile drive with 15 days’ notice, but they did. They are awesome.

The pictures are amazing. Did you guys get ready together? If so, that is so sweet. Congrats.

@jbridea: He got fully dressed, I had everything but my dress and shoes on so we could do a first look. I think we got ready in 1.5 hours total – including showers, I did my own hair/makeup. We did a 5 mile hike that morning!

Gorgeous!!! Was that Peyto Lake? It looks like somewhere in the Ca Rockies!

@missporkchops: Same general area! This is Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park! Peyto Lake is along the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park – about 1 hour away.

I love them so so so much!!!! What a place to get married! So beautiful – congrats again. I love this idea… if we weren’t committed to the idea of getting all our loved ones together, I’d want to do this in a heartbeat.

Jaw droppingly beautiful! I love all of them. I especially like the ones with you on the boat and the one of you in the woods. The contrast of green against your dress is stunning.
I also eloped in the mountains, so your pictures brought back some really great memories. Congratulations!!
I can tell you that you will not regret eloping one bit. My husband and I LOVE that it was truly OUR DAY. A perfect day of sweet memories that only we share. We weren’t worried about centerpieces, the bridal party, the food, etc. It was really a day just to be focused on us.
