@Treejewel19: I’m not sure where, but he still has family in Scotland who come to visit from time to time. We acctually got a beautiful cashmere plaid lap blanket from them for a wedding gift! And his great grandmother still had an accent when i met her! So he’s closely tied to Scotland still. My mothers maiden name is Suillivan, and you can see how pasty I am, so i’m clearly Irish. Some day when we have the funds we’d love to make a few trips over that way, see some of the places our ancestors tred! It would have been even more complicated to kilt the men since we’d have HAD to get each their own tartan… I had an irish man of honor, the best man was Welsh, and his other groomsmen consised of another Scot and 2 Irish lads. So… they’d have been a motley assortment!

thanks everyone for your kind words. I was very worried we’d not end up with any pictures i liked since i’m a begining photographer and know what looks I enjoy, as well as the fact that i am much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it! I am not happy with how i look, generaly. I’ve lost some weight since we started dating but not as much as i’d hoped for beore the wedding. And right before the big day, maybe 2 weeks out, my mom told me i looked pregnant in my dress! lol, who says that?! So, i’m glad we got some good images!
