Hi Bees,
After sifting through some 1800+ pro photos from our October wedding I thought I’d post a recap for y’all to enjoy. Sorry in advance for the pic overload… I just couldn’t help myself!
I’ll add several “replies” to this post to try to break it up some. Enjoy!

Getting all made up. Loved my makeup artist!

Bridesmaids and a good friend watching me get beautified

My sister and I
Our rings

My something old, blue, and borrowed. This ring was given to my aunt by my grandmother, whom I was very close with. I was honored to get to wear such a beautiful piece on my wedding day.

A gift of new pearls from my husband. Unfortunately I did not get to wear them on the wedding night, but they are still very special!

My handsome groom getting ready

2 of my bridesmaids helping me into my dress

Trying to fasten the crystal buttons down the back of my dress. More challenging than all the bridesmaids expected! The buttons gave me trouble all night long and by the end of the night they were all undone.

The boys and my dad enjoying a drink before heading to the venue. Unfortunately 2 of my DH’s groosmen (his own brother and BIL) were really terrible and didn’t show up to this part of the afternoon, so we don’t have any pictures of them!

First look 🙂

First dance with my DH
Father-daughter dance

The ice cream bar was a hit!

Sparkler send off. My husband and I were then escorted to our hotel by a homeless man wanting a tip. My dad was gracious enough to give him $100 (because that’s all he had in his wallet) on his way back.

pinkorblue: thanks so much! the lipstick actually was more of a classic red but my makeup artist put a hot-pink gloss over it that made it appear coral. I was a little worried at first as we had not tried that color during my trial but I think it really popped in the photos and turned out well.

MrsPhishBee: Thank you so much! Our wedding canopy had a backing of crystal strands. The crystals really reflected the light and made it shimmer. I’m not exactly sure what the fabric was, but yes it was ivory in color.
purrrbaby: Everything (food, decor, florals) came from/was done by Legendary Events. I highly recommend them!
