i would go with your first plan, in case she is on vacation (i emailed two of my vendors at one point and didn’t get a response–turns out they were traveling internationally). if she doesn’t respond right away the second time (and really, if she is away she should have an autoresponse), i’d look elsewhere because you don’t want to be dealing with the kind of stress as time gets closer. i hope it works out and it really was just a hiccup!

Hmm… you offered her $150?

Maybe she is uncomfortable with the price… I have seen a lot of Etsy sellers who list the right to use their design at about $20 and she might feel like you are being ripped off.

While a lot of people would jump at the chance to sell for that much, she might worry you are over-paying.

Just a thought!

im sure you paid through paypal… so file a complaint with them i usually have good luck with etsy sellers, but i tried buying a veil for my first dress and the seller never shipped i filed a complain on the pay pal website and they got me my money back it took some time but atleast i got it back and the seller didnt get rewarded for not complying with your agreements

You are not being too generous.  Etsy has a bad reputation in the design world because so many vendors underprice themselves.  Like a $10 scarf.  How is that good business??  There is also lots of plagiarism.

To your question though, I’d give it a week, and then file a complaint with Pay Pal.  That should help!

I’m not sure what kind of style you’re looking for in invites, but this etsy seller does exactly what you’re talking about — gives you files to print at home.

I think they’re really cute.

Fourth and Folded is Mrs. Gloss!  She just started but is so good, I think.

i had a similar problem with a seller on Etsy.. i asked her for 4 bridesmaids jewelry sets, but i purchased just the 1st one to check color/lenght etc.. 2 weks went by and i never received the set she said she mailed in january..i contacted 3 times before reported her on etsy and ironically after reporting her she emailed me saying she was out of town for a funeral, but no notification was post in her home page..she apologized and said she would send me another set right away and email me a tracking number this time…ok, so i gave her the benefit of the doubt..no email no tracking number no answers from her.. so i open a claim on paypal and literally 4 days before i woudl have got my money back i get the jewelry set, a month after i purcased it..really??? anyways i apologized for all the incovinience, and i told her i will be wiling to buy the other 3 sets left since i liked it that much… no answers so far, and this was about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago.. and guess what? she took down her stuff from her home page..misteriously her shop from 10 items she was selling it has now 0.. weird! well at least you havent paid yet.. i would suggest to look for something else… some of the sellers are just full of crap!
