So I just stuffed all the invitations and put stamps on everything. As I’m doing this I notice that the address to the venue is 152 pine street and it says 154 pine street on the invitation. Not a huge difference but I have no time to re-print invites. The direction cards have the right address but I don’t want people to get confused. I plan on putting arrows and balloons at every turn because the venue is located in the middle of nowhere. Should I be freaked out or just let this slide and laugh about it later?

Sorry, but if it happened to me, I would change it to what it should be.

I would let it slide — you are off by 2 numbers any gsp or maping program is going to get your guests close enough to see the balloons. Also in some parts of the country NYC for example lots of buildings contain more than one address. Reprinting takes time and money better spent on other aspects of your wedding. If the address was so wrong that it put people on a differnt streat or different part of town I would correct it — but yours are not that far off,. Do not sweat it — and enjoy your big day,

For me, it would depend on how much it would cost… I only sent 30 invites but had them designed by a graphic designer, so to reprint them w/ the right address it would be over $200. Not worth it, for me. If I could reprint them at home for a reasonable cost, i’d think about redoing them. I’m not sure how you did yours.
Could you send a follow up postcard? Or an email? Keep in mind also, that a lot of people will just bring the map card with them (where it is correct).
(as an example, I misspelled my own middle name on our invites… not as important as an address but I let it slide… kristin/kristen…)

Do you have the venue name on the invite too? Is it an obvious venue? (Like a country club or hotel vs. a person’s home?)

I just spoke to my mother in-law and she said don’t worry about it. We will make signs, send emails and make sure everyone knows where they are going. It would cost another $160 to print new ones and I need to get them out tomorrow. I didn’t really notice until now and I feel really silly about it, but I think most people will notice the direction cards not the actual invitation. I have been invited to two weddings this year and I never really read their invitations.

The venue is located in a neighborhood but it’s a b&b surrounded by horse farms so I think people will find it. Almost everyone has a gps these days and I’m going to make finding it idiot proof!! 🙂

i think youll be fine, its not worth the cost. wrong street maybe, but i think if they’re standing in front of a horse farm adn there’s a BB with wedding signs next door, they’ll figure it out!
