I’m trying to work on the processional into the ceremony stuff. So backround, Fiance has a single grandmother then FMILs parents who are together. I have one set of grandparents. Then there is my mom and his parents. My dad is walking me down the aisle. We have 2 ushers.
So, I was thinking, having Usher A walk FI’s single Grand mother down the aisle, then FI’s grandparents walk together, then my grandparents together, next FI’s parents walk together then have Usher B walk my mom down the aisle.
Would that be weird? I really am not a huge fan of the whole “couples not walking down the aisle together” thing that usually happens when everyone is escorted by an usher. Ideas?
Oh and for the music. there is a song I love and want to use for thr processional, but it is 2.5 minutes long. Two parts to this question. Would it be weird to have the moms/parents walk into the same song as the bridal party? And do you think that a 2.5 minute song is long enough for 9 groups of 2 to get up a 50′ aisle? I don’t want them sprinting but I REALLY love this song. Thanks so much
