hey bees=) so i believe our wedding party is going to be uneven..fiance isn’t sure whether he’s going to make both his brothers the best men and then have 5 groomsmen, or 1 best man and 6 groomsmen, while I have 1 Maid/Matron of Honor, and 7 bridesmaids…
do you guys have any suggestions on how we can do the processional?? not quite sure how this will work…thanks=) or if your party was uneven, how did you do it?

for the processional, my BMs and GMs wont be paired. Everyone will walk down the aisle alone. For the recessional, I haven’t decided what to do. I have 3 of each, so they may walk paired. You could have the Maid/Matron of Honor follow you out first and then pair the rest of the girls and guys since the Maid/Matron of Honor will have to fix your dress and stuff and doesn’t really need a pair. For introductions into the reception, I am also leaning towards not pairing them. The 3 GMs have long-time girlfriends, and all the BMs are single, so I don’t want to introduce them as if they were couples. So I think I will have the guys intoduced at once (and walk in together) and then the girls introduced (and walk in together).

Most of the weddings I’ve been to/in, the groomsmen just come out from the front and stand with the groom, and the BMs walk down the aisle alone. How do you feel about doing it that way?

Our group might be uneven – we plan on staggering them for the procession – just walking one guy, one girl, one guy, one girl…
For the recessional we’ll pair them off and if need be, have one guy walk two girls or vice versa. Our introductions will be the guys at one time and the girls at one time…
